And that the triggering overlowed into this video, so needed at this time of huge disruption is to me a great example of what constructive response looks like.
Like you, I too am questioning everything, but one thing I am NOT questioning is the direction of transformation. If transformation comes at the expense of our humanity, then its purpose is senseless. It's true that disruption can be a catalyst for change - but this kind of transformation feels like an undoing, not a regenerative advancement of humanity
The one sacred task we have as humans while on this planet -as I see it - is to make sure we stand by, define and protect what humanity looks and feels like. Bizarrely in that Whitehouse exchange we were given a great example of what it absolutely is NOT. The call to make sure we put ourselves forward in ways that are always principle-led becomes all the more louder in moments like these where the very future of freedom is being undone before our eyes.
